Frequently Asked Questions

How do I activate my license? +
After purchase, you'll receive a license key via email. Open LazyTerminal, go to Settings, and enter your license key. Your license will be activated instantly.
Can I use my license on multiple computers? +
Yes! Your license can be activated on multiple personal computers. LazyTerminal is licensed per-user, not per-device.
Where are my snippets and settings stored? +
All your data is stored locally at %LocalAppData%\LazyTerminal. You can back up this folder to preserve your snippets, workspaces, and settings.
How do I set up the "cla" command? +
Go to Settings > Custom Commands and add a new command. Set the name to "cla" and the command to launch Claude Code in the current directory. LazyTerminal will register it with Windows Explorer automatically.
Does LazyTerminal collect my data? +
No. LazyTerminal does not collect your commands, code, snippets, or any usage data. The only network communication is license verification, which transmits only your license key and an anonymized machine ID.
What happens after my update period expires? +
You can continue using your current version forever. If you want access to new features and updates, you can purchase an update extension for a discounted price.
Can I get a refund? +
Yes. If you're not satisfied with LazyTerminal, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.
What shells does LazyTerminal support? +
LazyTerminal supports CMD, PowerShell, Git Bash, WSL, and SSH connections. You can configure your preferred shell in Settings.
